The Practice
In my practice, I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a warm and supportive atmosphere to complement your interdisciplinary pain management.
As a dentist and counsellor specializing in chronic pain, I combine my experience in dentistry, counselling and psychotherapy to offer you comprehensive care tailored to your individual needs.
My approach to counselling and psychotherapy is person-centered (according to Carl. R. Rogers). This means that unconditional positive regard, empathy, compassion, and authenticity, as well as good collaborative work to achieve your goals are important to me.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for you, where you can feel heard, understood, supported and empowered.
The interdisciplinary advantage
Through my combined background in dentistry, counselling & psychotherapy, I can offer you a unique perspective on pain management and thus support and complement the medical therapy of your doctor or dentist from a psychological, social and possibly spiritual perspective.
Accordingly, I take into account the physical, psychological and social aspects of pain, as well as the significance of pain for life itself, which can lead to more comprehensive treatment planning.
Direct and truly interdisciplinary contact and exchange with your treating doctors and therapists are extremely important to me, of course only if you agree to it.
